Breast tumour is a diagnostic challenge need to be faced by general practitioners as well as breast pathology specialists. An accurate diagnosis with a rational use of diagnosis procedures is essential, in order tio avoid unnecessar y invasive test. According to the literature 9 to 11% of females with a breast nodule are diagnosed having breast cancer. This risk increases with age; 1% in women below 40 years old, 9% in women between 41 and 50 years old and 37% in women over 51 years old. Considering the fact that the incidence of breast cancer has increased over the years and that 62% are disgnosed by finding a tumour at physical examination, the
evaluation of breast nodule is an important clinical issue
